This rope is great for the rough sand stone of southern Utah. It is used for many industrial & military applications. It has a 100% HMPE core that is covered in a durable cabled, solution dyed polyester sheath. It sheds water quickly. It should only be used with a descender that allows you to add friction, like the Hoodoo Belay device.
It is NOT recommended for use with an ATC or Pirana descender.
