This is an undesignated, primitive campground just off of Highway 95. The ground can be a little rocky here, so choose a spot carefully to place your tent. Or you can drive down a little dirt road towards the mouth of Butler Canyon where the ground is softer and has more sand. This is a great spot to camp if you are going to be visiting or canyoneering Hogwarts Canyon, Leprechaun Canyon, Morocco Canyon, or any other of a number of North Wash canyons. As a note, there is no official name for this campground since it is not a designated site and is just on BLM land. Being at the mouth of Butler Canyon, it has been dubbed after the canyon.
